This book is intense, emotional and full of pain and coping with the loss of loved ones. It explores how grief affects people and how they differ handling it while trying to heal. Don’t start this book until you have the time to sit and read it. I had a party planned at my house and was tempted to cancel it so I could keep reading! The book was riveting, tugged at my heart, and had me shedding a few tears. I enjoyed Caden and Molly’s bickering and learning who they were deep down in their souls as they got to know each other better. I adored Kenna and how her external in internal personas were polar opposites. Ah, and getting to know Brandon through Molly and Caden’s memories of him, his letters to Caden and Molly, what he wrote in his will and what he said in the voice mail makes you feel the loss of him and Amelia as though they were members of your family. This book made me feel deeply – what more could you want from a book?
